A Message from The Fisherman:

Lets be honest. I am likely not a great candidate for the job, I have no political experience and haven't seen another human in about 35 years. My major skills are rowing a boat, brewing seaweed beer, fishing and starting campfires. My only interaction with another sapient being comes from my nightly campfire with the island's resident monster (who is quite a philosopher) outside his cave. I picked him as my running mate by default, though I think his imposing figure, razor sharp teeth and brilliant rhetoric make him ideal for keeping congress in line.

All said, my politics are simple and easy to understand. There is an old phrase republicans use: "Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him to fish and you'll feed him for the rest of his life." As a fisherman, I am fond of this - However, I don't mind sharing my catch if you're not as adept as I am. Where is the harm in spreading the wealth around when you have extra?
